Washington D.C. – The Department of Defense has awarded TechLink Services, a leading provider of technology field services, with the Aviation Procurement Retrieval International Labor F-000l5 contract for the retrieval and repair of the MQ-9 Reaper drone that was forced down into the Black Sea by a Russian Sukhoi SU-27 fighter jet.
The incident occurred on March 10, 2023, when the drone was conducting a routine reconnaissance mission over the Black Sea. The Russian fighter jet intercepted the drone and forced it to crash into the sea.
