TechLink Services (TLS) is a fast-growing IT Services company, providing nationwide Digital Signage, Satellite, and Telecommunications installations and services. With four regional offices located throughout the USA, we are seeking a professional recruiter to head up the recruiting and onboarding of field service technicians.

Reports to: Technical Recruiting Manager
Responsibilities
- Recruiting independent installation and service contractors to TechLink’s field service team using methods such as direct phone calls, email correspondence, social media, promotion of TechLink’s technology, referrals, etc.
- Identify and maintain technician COI, W9, and General Liability requirements
- Entering new field service partners into TLS’ system and ensuring all onboarding documentation is complete.
- Evaluate the skill sets of these new partners through interviews and references in order to identify the technician’s best capabilities and where additional training should be offered.
- Maintain field service partner database, by keeping insurance certificates, partner contact information, and tax documents up to date.
- Promote proper training to our field service partners
- Work with TechLink management to identify areas in the US and Canada where additional field service resources are required and manage recruitment campaigns in these areas.
- Develop and share monthly reports to upper management on the success of the recruitment program.
- Develop requirements for portal and app enhancements to improve the efficiency of the recruiting process and the overall quality of our field service partners.
Skills
- Review. Vetting of potential service partners by evaluating skill sets via interview and references to identify the technician’s best capabilities and where additional training should be offered. Review job installation descriptions in order to understand the skill set needed by the technical service provider as well as to ask questions that’ll help you identify the right candidate(s).
- Comprehend TechLink Services technology, technical roles, and technical skills required to successfully provide and maintain client satisfaction.
- Identify. Sourcing and uncovering candidates in multi-states with a variety of skill sets.
- Screen. Ascertaining the competence of candidates against a technical job installation description in order to bring high-quality partners on board.
- Interview. Calling technical field service partners via telephone, video conference, etc. to assess their qualifications.
- Following up. Keep your technical candidates in the loop. This goes a long way to build your credibility and keep your candidates either coming back to TechLink Services or sending referrals to you.
- Present. Showing or offering technical service providers to TechLink Services managers to scrutinize or consider.
- Process. Entering new field services partners onboarding documentation into the TechLink Portal. Maintain field service partner database, keeping insurance certificates and tax documents up to date.
- Technology knowledge– Ability to understand the technology and to keep abreast of technology trends for client projects.
- Confidence– The ability to be comfortable in who one is. If you don’t know it, learn it, and do not try to fake it. It may be off-putting to your candidate when you try to fake technical knowledge.
- Inquisitiveness– Being able to ask questions of your sales/project managers, clients, and your candidates.
- Relationship Building– Start every conversation with the intent to build, develop and maintain relationships with your candidates.

- Minimum of 5 years in a technical recruiting role
- Previous experience with installation and service of digital signage, telecommunications, VoIP, satellite, routers, networking equipment and cabling preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
