How TechLink Installs Your Network
Survey & Design
Review blueprints, scope, and existing infrastructure, then walk each site to confirm cable paths, rack space, and power before pricing the install.
Procurement & Staging
Source approved switches, access points, and cabling, then rack, stack, and pre-configure equipment before it ships to the site.
Installation & Cabling
Run and terminate cabling, mount access points and equipment, and bring the network online, tracked in real time through TechLink’s SIMPL platform.
Testing & Certification
Certify every cable run to ANSI/TIA-568 standards and hand over a signed test report and documentation package for each site.
What TechLink Installs

LAN & WLAN
The wired and wireless backbone inside a location, from switch and access point placement to the cable plant that connects them.

SD-WAN & Multi-Site Connectivity
Software-defined connections between locations and headquarters, standardized so every site routes traffic the same way. Pairs well with an Internet Failover connection for sites that can’t afford downtime.

Wireless & Cellular
Mesh protocols, point-to-point links, and 4G/5G cellular for sites and devices that can’t run on a wired connection alone.

RFID & IoT Device Networks
Dedicated network segments and access points for RFID readers, sensors, and other connected devices running alongside your core structured cabling.

Rack & Stack / Equipment Refresh
Full rack builds, switch and router refreshes, and end-of-life equipment swaps, staged and labeled before install.

VoIP & Ongoing Support
VoIP deployment, remote troubleshooting, and break/fix service on the network equipment already in place.
What Gets Tested Before TechLink Signs Off on a Network Install
A network installation isn’t finished when the last cable is plugged in. Two things get checked before TechLink signs off.
Every cable run is certified against ANSI/TIA-568 limits, not just tested for a signal: a permanent link capped at 90 meters, a full channel capped at 100 meters, and measured insertion loss and near-end crosstalk (NEXT) on every drop. TechLink hands over a signed certification report for each site, not just a punch list.
And if a location’s network carries point-of-sale or payment traffic, PCI DSS requires that traffic to sit on its own segment. TechLink VLANs payment and POS traffic away from guest and general-use Wi-Fi at every site, which keeps unrelated devices out of the cardholder data environment and out of PCI audit scope entirely.

What does a nationwide network installation from TechLink include?
TechLink handles site survey and design, procurement and staging of approved equipment, cabling and installation, and TIA-568 certification testing for every location. You get one point of contact and one test report per site, whether it’s a single location or a 200-site rollout.
How long does a multi-location network rollout take?
Timing depends on site count and readiness, but most multi-site rollouts move in scheduled waves rather than all at once. A single-site LAN or WLAN install typically takes one to two days once cabling and equipment are on-site, with larger rollouts scheduled across weeks based on your timeline.
Does TechLink certify network cabling to TIA-568 standards?
Yes. Every cable run is tested and certified against ANSI/TIA-568 limits, including permanent link and channel length, insertion loss, and near-end crosstalk, and you receive a signed test report for each site.
Can TechLink segment POS or payment traffic for PCI compliance?
Yes. TechLink VLANs point-of-sale and payment traffic away from guest and general-use Wi-Fi at every location, which keeps unrelated devices out of your PCI DSS cardholder data environment.
What network equipment and technologies does TechLink install?
TechLink installs LAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, RFID, mesh and point-to-point wireless, cellular 4G/5G, VoIP, and rack and stack equipment refreshes, using your approved hardware standards or recommending equipment if you don’t have one yet.
Does TechLink provide ongoing network maintenance after installation?
Yes. TechLink offers ongoing service contracts, emergency repair, and break/fix support on installed network equipment, routed through the same project team and SIMPL portal as the original install.
